Day 1:

Arrive Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Meet & Greet and private transfers on arrival. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation with your guide.

Overnight: Amangani (Luxury resort) or Bentwood Inn (Nat Geo Unique Lodges of the World)

Day 2:

This morning depart early for a full day of wildlife viewing in Grand Teton National Park with an expert naturalist guide. Look for moose, bison, grizzly bears and more before enjoying a gourmet packed or picnic lunch in the field. Return to your accommodations late afternoon to relax before dinner.

Day 3:

This morning head out with your guide for a beautiful sunrise over the Tetons and the chance for more wildlife viewing. The adventure continues this afternoon with a 15-mile route across the National Elk Refuge and into the mountains over a rigorous jeep track. At the end of the road you reach a true haven, Flat Creek Ranch, where you can hike, fish, horseback ride and take in the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife from this secluded, luxury ranch. Enjoy cocktail hour and dinner at the ranch this evening.

Day 4:

Head out this morning for a half day horseback ride in the Gros Ventre National Wilderness Area with 287,00 acres of pine forests, mountains and steep valleys. Return for a delicious lunch before trying your hand at fly fishing, with instruction, in the afternoon on the ranch's mile-and-a-half stretch of upper Flat Creek’s challenging waters or the 50-acre Flat Creek Lake. Enjoy cocktails and dinner tonight at the ranch.

Day 5:

Today get out and active with a hike in the Bridger Teton National Forest. There are both rigorous climbs and easy ambles that will cross elk trails, brilliant meadows and afford you stunning views. This afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the ranch. Read a book on on the porch of your private cabin or hop on one of the stand up paddle boards or kayaks and head out onto the lake. Enjoy cocktails and dinner tonight at the ranch.

Day 6:

Enjoy one last morning at the ranch and breakfast before embarking on your journey back to Jackson Hole Airport for your flight home.

NOTES

For families and small groups, this itinerary can be executed with exclusive use of Flat Creek Ranch. The Ranch accommodates a maximum of 10-14 guests in 5 cabins. The Bentwood Inn can also be rented on an exclusive basis with use of 5 rooms (3 night min stay may apply depending on time of year). Flat Creek Ranch stays can be 3 nights, 4 nights or 7 nights.
